Project engineer for construction project in Mora

We are looking for you who are a trained engineer in construction or civil engineering and want to develop in a varying role at an international company active in infrastructure, construction and railways. In the position as project engineer, you will work in a supportive role in a road project that is expected to last for the next three years. The position must be filled immediately, so send in your application as soon as possible!

Information about the assignment

Academic Work is looking for a project engineer for their project office in Mora on behalf of the customer. You will work for a Spanish company that is involved in a 3-year project in the construction of road and bridge construction. The office will be built on site and you will sit together with about 20 colleagues, subcontractors and workers who are involved in the project. In the position, you will be present as a support function in the project and support project managers, production managers and supervisors in their daily work.

offer Tasks

  • Collaborate with product managers when deciding on resources and methods and participate in production meetings
  • Ensure that project, environmental and work environment plans are complied with and participate in risk inventory of quality, environmental and work environment work
  • Initiate and implement changes in the project together with the project manager
  • Read work documents and contracts and check that local regulations and government requirements are followed
  • Assist in the preparation of work preparations, purchasing plans, agreements and production plans
  • Assist the production managers and ensure that EAT work and deviations are reported
  • Participate in and be responsible for the APD plan, contingency plan and TA plan

We are looking for you as

  • Has a master’s or university degree in construction, civil engineering or similar
  • Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing as there is contact and documentation in both languages
  • Has good computer skills and knowledge of the Office package

It is an advantage if you have work experience in road construction or have previously worked at the Swedish Transport Administration as a project engineer.
