Information about the assignment

LFV is a state-owned enterprise whose main task is to provide a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly air traffic service for civil and military aviation. LFV offers smart solutions for the flights of the future, where the focus is on technical development and research, both nationally and globally. Through collaborations internationally in various forms, LFV develops the European airspace and with its leading position, they contribute with advanced solutions in the various projects they participate in. Among other things, LFV was the first in the world to launch and operate remote air traffic control (Remote Tower Services) as involves air traffic control at a distance.

This is a consulting assignment, where you are offered a job at Academic Work and will work as a consultant at LFV. The assignment will be full-time and LFV is looking at the assignment in the long term.

offer Tasks

As a validation engineer at LFV, you will primarily work in project form, both nationally and internationally. The work will, among other things, mean that you work closely with your colleagues with the implementation of prototypes, verification, and integration of subsystems in LFV’s test environments.

For example, you will:

  • drive the process from requirements specification to validation and solution
  • analyze both hard and soft values ​​at work
  • planning and management of validation exercises
  • testing and verification of the validation environment
  • follow-up and reporting

The service is suitable for you who have an interest in aviation and want to be involved and contribute to the infrastructure and provide something that is socially critical. The service is also suitable for you if you like to have several different contact areas, are curious, and enjoy working in an unpretentious environment. The position involves both periods of a lot of social contact with colleagues and partners and periods of own analysis of measured values, to fit into this role, it is important that you enjoy both of these ways of working.

We are looking for you as

  • Has a master’s degree in, for example, technical physics, mechanical engineering, computer technology, vehicle technology, space technology or similar technical engineering education
  • Has an interest in technology and an interest in aviation
  • Is unobstructed in the Swedish and English languages, both orally and in writing

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with similar tasks.

As you will be security-classified at LFV, it is required that you are a Swedish citizen.
